The Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture extends its warm congratulations to Professor Ruth Phillips on her retirement. A fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and co-founder of the Great Lakes Research Alliance for the Study of Aboriginal Arts and Cultures (GRASAC), Professor Phillips (ICSLAC/SSAC/Sociology and Anthropology) held the Canada Research Chair in Modern Culture at Carleton. She taught numerous graduate courses in the Cultural Mediations PhD program within ICSLAC, where she supervised many doctoral students. Our very best wishes for a fulfilling and productive retirement.
