Getting Around

The Carleton University campus is located six kilometres from downtown Ottawa. A one-way cab ride costs approximately $25; however Ottawa also has a convenient and reliable bus system, which costs $3.25 (one-way). From the Airport:
>To Downtown
Walk to stop AIRPORT STOP.
Take Bus Route 97.
Get off at stop MACKENZIE KING.

>To Carleton
Walk to stop AIRPORT STOP.
Take Bus Route 97.
Get off at stop GREENBORO.
Transfer to O-TRAIN GREENBORO (Direction Bayview).
Get off at stop O-TRAIN CARLETON.

From the Train Station (ViaRail):
>To Downtown
Walk to stop TRAIN 2A.
Take Bus Route 94 or 95.
Get off at stop MACKENZIE KING.

>To Carleton
Walk to stop TRAIN 2A.
Take Bus Route 94 or 95.
Get off at stop HURDMAN.
Transfer to Bus Route 4.
Get off at CAMPUS/COMMONS.

From the Central Greyhound Station:
>To Downtown
Walk to stop BANK/CATHERINE.
Take Bus Route 1 or 7 (north).
Get off at stop RIDEAU CENTRE.

>To Carleton
Walk to stop BANK/FLORA.
Take Bus Route 7 (south).
Get off at stop CAMPUS/COMMONS.

From Downtown (and Novotel Hotel):
>To Carleton
Walk to stop RIDEAU.
Take Bus Route 4.
Get off at stop CAMPUS/COMMONS.
