Dr. Mohsen Nasrin, who holds a PhD from the Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture at Carleton University, is a contract professor in film studies at the University of Calgary, University of Alberta, Mount Royal University, and University of Regina. He has taught over 30 courses at 8 institutions in North America, including Carleton University, Trent University, University of Kansas, and University of Ottawa. His doctoral thesis focused on the temporal experience in the films of Canadian filmmakers Lynn Stopkewich and John Greyson. His work has been cited in multiple academic research projects.
