Refund and cancellation deadlines:

  • Up to eight (8) weeks of program start (June 3 deadline): You will receive a ninety percent (90 %) refund.
  • Up to four (4) weeks of program start (July 1 deadline): You will receive a fifty percent (50%) refund.
  • There will be no refund past the July 1 deadline.
  • Regardless of refund status, all registered participants are kindly asked to inform us of cancelled participation.

Refund fees: 

  • A refund service fee of 10% will be applied.

Refund process and timeline:

  • Refunds must be requested in writing by email to curatorialsummerinstitute@cunet.carleton.ca . All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the credit card holder, the name of the attendee/customer, and the transaction number. Please do not include your credit card number in any refund requests. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. Please allow for 28 days for processing.
  • Carleton University reserves the right to cancel events. If Carleton University cancels an event or service for any reason we will process refunds for these within 28 days. Please do not include your credit card number in any refund requests. Carleton University is not responsible for the time frame within which the payment card issuing bank refunds the money to your card.
