CUSERT holds Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C courses in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross. The course is taught by experienced CUSERT responders or CUSERT alumni, and is held numerous times throughout the year.
This comprehensive two-day course provides skills and knowledge training for use in the workplace/school and at home, covering topics such as breathing and circulation emergencies, wound care, bone and joint injuries, and much more. This widely recognized course meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. For more information about the course, click here. The cost of the course is currently $80.00. Course fees can be paid online, or by cash or by cheque made payable to: Carleton University Student Emergency Response Team. Additional payment details are available when completing the registration form.
CUSERT may also be able to offer private courses for Carleton-based organizations, departments, and clubs. Please contact us for more information.
Please note that these courses are currently only open to Carleton students, staff, and faculty with a Carleton ID number. Due to restrictions placed on CUSERT by Carleton Environmental Health and Safety, we are not permitted to provide training to individuals who are taking the course for the purpose of on-campus employment at Carleton.
