CUSERT offers two formats of Standard First Aid (SFA) courses that allow for skills practice and knowledge training for use in the workplace/school and at home. In-person courses include two days of classroom learning/practice. Blended courses include online self-paced learning and one day of classroom learning/practice. SFA includes CPR training and covers topics such as breathing and circulation emergencies, wound care, bone and joint injuries, and much more. This widely recognized course meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. For more information about the course, click here. Certifications are issued by the Canadian Red Cross.
The cost of the course is $95.00. Course fees can be paid online. Additional payment details are available when completing the registration form.
CUSERT may also be able to offer private courses for Carleton-based organizations and clubs. Please contact us for more information.
Our classes are only open to Carleton students, alumni, faculty, and staff members with a Carleton ID number.
