In recognition of the annual National Day of Mourning, this is a time to remember and renew our commitment to improving workplace health and safety, and to preventing further illnesses, injuries and deaths.

Today, on April 28th, the flags on Carleton’s campus will fly at half-mast for the National Day of Mourning to honour colleagues, friends and family members who have died, sustained injuries or suffered illness due to workplace related incidents and hazards.

At Carleton University, we are committed to health and safety on our campus. If you are on campus and see something that may pose a hazard, we would encourage you to fix it (if you can), or report it to your supervisor, through CUWorksafe or to the Facilities Management and Planning (FMP) Service Centre.
