Tim joined Carleton University in early 2016 as the Fire Prevention and Safety Officer. He received a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta at the age of 32 and soon focused his sights on Worker Health & Safety.

With over 12 years of health & safety experience in various sectors including Health Care, High tech and Construction, Tim is a valuable member of the EHS team. Tim transitioned from a Fire Safety role and is now the Health and Safety Officer responsible for core H&S programming.

Tim prides himself on being a life-long learner who is always looking for new challenges. He enjoys trying new board games with family and friends, virtual rock-climbing and defending his online persona from hostile zombies.
