The North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week has been recognized since 1997 by agreement between Canada, the United States and Mexico. The goal is to focus employers, employees, partners, and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home, and in the community.

The 64th Annual Mental Health Awareness Week focuses on the mental health and well-being of men and boys and encourages people from all walks of life to learn, talk, reflect and engage others on issues related to mental health and mental illness. Every year, the Canadian Mental Health Association delivers programs and services to over half a million Canadians.

Emergency Preparedness Week is an annual national event coordinated by Public Safety Canada, in close collaboration with the provinces and territories and partners.  The goal is to build a more resilient community by taking the time to get individuals, their families and their neighbourhoods ready for emergencies and disasters.
