This online training course provides an overview of ladder safety at Carleton University. This training covers how to choose the correct ladder, how to use ladders safely, and what hazards to be aware of when working with a ladder. An overview of Carleton’s Ladder Safety Program will also be provided.

Any individual using ladders in the course of their work at Carleton University should complete this training.

The Ladder Safety training is available online.
- Visit Brightspace.
- Sign in using your MC1 credentials.
- Select the correct course in “My Courses”. If the course is not listed in “My courses”, search for the training through the Discover link in the navigation bar and self register by following the on-screen instructions.
