This session will cover general fire safety that you can use both at Carleton University and at home. You will be educated on fire prevention and what to do in event of a fire. Over the course of 60 minutes, you will learn the following:

• Developing and practicing a fire escape plan
• Types of fire safety devices and where they should be located
• Kitchen fire safety
• How to prevent dryer fires

This is an in-class session.
