Flood Awareness Training Overview
As a Carleton community member, you may have some questions about specific hazards and how you can prepare for them. This session will focus on how to be prepared for floods and it will provide you with information to better understand this hazard, maintain situational awareness, and take decisive action.
You will have the chance to learn the following:
- Historical events within the Ottawa region
- General hazard information
- Hazard risk within Ottawa
- Staying safe before, during, and after a flood
This session will include a question and answer period.
This is an in-class session.
