This session, hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and Design, aims to provide researchers with comprehensive insights into the NSERC Research Tools and Instruments (RTI) Grants Program. We aim to present topics and collaborative discussions to share knowledge needed to effectively navigate this funding opportunity and to help researchers maximize their chances of securing funding.

Key topics to be covered during the discussion include:

  • An overview of NSERC-RTI grant program and FED’s internal processes
  • Tips on proposal development and evaluation process
  • Discussion on best practices through examples of successful applications

Prof. Joslin has served as a peer review member for the RTI program in 2023.

Fateme Rajabiyazdi – Assistant Professor, Systems and Computer Engineering

Prof. Rajabiyazdi is currently serving as a peer review member for RTI committee, starting in the 2023 competition.
