Congratulations to Chichi Ayalogu! A doctoral candidate in ICSLAC supervised by Profs Sarah Brouillette (English) and Franny Nudelman (English / ICSLAC), Chichi has been awarded a SSHRC doctoral fellowship for her project “Diasporic Witnessing: Crises and the Aesthetics of the Nigerian Migratory Intelligentsia.” Her dissertation analyzes cultural texts by first-generation Nigerian immigrants, interrogating how elite Nigerian diasporans view and act upon crisis in Nigeria from within Europe and North America.
