The Department of English Language and Literature wishes to extend its warmest congratulations to Professor Sarah Casteel for being named a Royal Society Fellow. Professor Casteel’s research focuses on the intersection of Black studies and Jewish studies — including diaspora literature and culture and global Holocaust studies. She is a founding member of the Centre for Transnational Cultural Analysis and Migration and Diaspora Studies at Carleton and is cross-appointed to the Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture and the Institute of African Studies. Congratulations Sarah!
