EDI Speaker Series
The Department of Equity and Inclusive Communities hosted an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Speaker Series in 2023. The speaker series was funded by the Canada Research Chairs Program EDI Stipend and focused on topics, such as inclusive approaches to hiring, equity-driven retention and support practices, equity-driven approaches to demographic data collection, and fostering a sense of belonging in higher education. The EDI Speaker Series occurred throughout 2023, with four events in total.
