Jude Mary Cénat

Professor, School of Psychology, University of Ottawa

Professor Jude Mary Cénat is a professor at the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa, where he also serves as director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Black Health and the Vulnerability, Trauma, Resilience and Culture Research Laboratory (V-TRaC Lab). He holds the University of Ottawa Research Chair on Black Health. His research focuses on trauma, resilience, cultural factors, and racial disparities in mental health, with work conducted across North America, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Professor Cénat is a member of the College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists of the Royal Society of Canada.
