Both projects primarily entail the use of the Integrum database for data collection from Russian media and MaxQDA to code and analyze broadcast transcripts. Training will be provided for the use of each platform.
Responsibilities:

Commitment: up to 20 hours per week (480 hours total for 2024-2025) at $35/hr. Both positions are renewable for 2025-2026.
Qualifications: Applicants should be enrolled as graduate students at Carleton University and proficient in reading Russian. PhD and advanced undergrad students will also be considered. Familiarity with MaxQDA is desirable but not required.
