The Fall Orientation Team is excited to host incoming students for a week packed full of fun activities as we help you gain the skills necessary to transition to university life at Carleton University.

The orientation experience will provide registrants with the opportunity to participate in exciting events such as CUSA Block Party, Canal Games, Explore Ottawa, and Athletics Night. We look forward to meeting incoming students in person and wanted to share some advance information as we lead up to the events.
Orientation Kit Pickups
Registrants can collect their orientation kits from Fenn Lounge located in Carleton Residence Commons on Campus Avenue; this is where you will get your Ravens sweatshirt, t-shirt, and much more in a Carleton swag bag. You will need to bring Photo ID such as your Campus Card or another piece of identification and can collect your kit during the following dates and times:

Orientation Kit pickups will continue to be available after September 5th from the Student Experience Office (SEO) located at 430 Tory Building. The SEO is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Schedule of Events
Our orientation team has been hard at work to develop a schedule that will provide exciting, fun, and inclusive programming. We have a full lineup of events from September 4 – 9, 2022*. Events will only be taking place outside of traditional class times and we have made sure that everyone will be available to attend Academic Orientation Day where you will meet members of your faculty.
