EngFrosh 2026: Facilitator Application
What is an EngFrosh Facil?
Facils are the volunteers in blue shirts who make up the bulk of volunteers in EngFrosh that are responsible for being at the forefront of interacting with first-year students, ensuring that they have a great week, and working with their heads to accomplish any necessary tasks during the week. Being a Facil is a great way to build your leadership skills and get involved with EngFrosh especially if you have never done it before! No prior EngFrosh experience is required to be a Facil and we welcome volunteers from all programs at Carleton! We are looking for Facils that are creative, energetic, friendly, and are looking forward to creating a great experience for first-year students!
All volunteers must:
- Be a returning undergraduate student for the 2026 fall term;
- Be in Good Academic Standing as defined in the Carleton University Undergraduate Calendar;
- Receive an ACE decision of Eligible to Continue (EC) through the duration of the role.
All volunteers will need to submit a Vulnerable Sector Check (sometimes referred to as a Police Background Check) before EngFrosh begins in September.
