The Library's Freedom to Read Week – A Call for Volunteers!
We are putting out a call for volunteers who would like to participate in our annual Freedom to Read Week celebrations here at Carleton.
As part of our planning, we are organizing two separate readings in the Library—one from 12 to 1 p.m. on February 28 and the other from 12 to 1 p.m. on March 2, and we are looking to the Carleton community to choose a book that has been banned from libraries or schools at some point and to read an excerpt.
We don’t expect anyone to make more than a three-minute reading commitment for these events.
