Purpose: Joint work on permafrost research in arid mountains, hydrology and climate change. This will involve joint fieldwork, joint research, exchange of researchers and students. Primarily this will concern DGES at Carleton. This partnership has the potential to grow with respect to hydrology and remote sensing at Carleton as well as to also include the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and the ITT Roorkee.
