Lunch is included!
We will be discussing C. Riley Snorton’s multiple-award-winning Black on Both Sides: A Racial History of Trans Identity (U Minnesota, 2017). We have decided to try whole books for reading group for the next little while, so read as much as you can of the book, but you should feel welcome to come even if you only have time for the introduction. Please email laura.horak@carleton.ca for access to the book.
Thanks to Carleton’s Women’s and Gender Studies and the Joint Chair for Women’s Studies for financially supporting the group this year.
Please RSVP to me (laura.horak@carleton.ca) and Julia (Julia.sinclairpalm@carleton.ca) and let us know of any dietary requirements.
