I have been teaching at PJIWGS since 2009. I am invested in feminist education as a tool of personal, social, and cultural change. My research explores broad connections between power, knowledge production, bodies, space, and identity.  My work has been published in the Journal of Fat Studies, Feminist Encounters, and the Journal of the Motherhood Initiative and Community Involvement. My dissertation examined the construction of white settler colonial urban space. More recently, I have been engaged in arts-based research projects that explore digital storytelling as a way of enacting social change through the research process.

When I’m not teaching at Carleton, I work at Anima Leadership, a social justice consulting firm that provides diversity and inclusion training.
