Carleton University Student Leadership Initiative

The Carleton University Student Leadership Initiative (CUSLI) offers a unique opportunity for students to discover and grow their leadership potential. Through a series of seven interactive sessions, CUSLI combines keynote speakers, hands-on activities, and immersive learning experiences designed to help students navigate complex challenges and drive meaningful change. Participants will develop self-awareness, gain critical skills for complex conversations, and collaborate with peers to refine their own leadership styles. By the end of the term, students will be ready to lead teams, projects, and discussions that inspire action and innovation.

Schedule for Winter 2025

Sessions will be held on Saturday mornings, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Future Learning Lab on the 4th floor of MacOdrum Library.  Students who complete the CUSLI will be invited to attend a celebration of achievement at the end of the term.
