The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies is pleased to congratulate Erica Oberndorfer on receipt of the Graduate Research and Innovative Thinking (GRIT) Award. The award acknowledges an outstanding PhD student conducting original and innovative research.
Erica will be using this award money to travel to present at the 38th Annual Conference of the Society of Ethnobiology in Santa Barbara, California. Erica’s doctoral research is on people-plant relationships in Makkovik, Nunatsiavut (Labrador). More Information.
