The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies (DGES) Graduate Advisory Committee is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a second annual Student Research Conference on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Carleton University (Loeb Building) from 9:00 AM-4:30 PM. This free conference will feature keynote speaker Dr. John Stone, a panel of geography graduates working in non-academic fields and oral/poster presentations throughout the day. Interested attendees are asked to register for the conference via the website listed below. Students interested in an oral or poster presentation should also visit our website to submit an abstract (250 words or less) detailing the proposed topic of their presentation by Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:59 PM.
