GRADUATE STUDENT AWARD $2000

BORDER STUDIES RESEARCH

APPLICATION DEADLINE: DECEMBER 1, 2019

Carleton University graduate students engaged in research on any aspect of Border Studies are encouraged to apply for the Border Studies Research Award. The amount of $2000 will be awarded in December, 2019, to the Carleton University graduate student selected by the committee. The award is in recognition of innovative border studies research that promises to advance understanding of borders. Multiple awards may be offered.

Applications will include a one page letter, a current resume, and a brief (400 word) description of the border research. The description must include statements addressing the innovative nature of the work, the significance of the research to the advancement of understanding borders, and, if appropriate, the policy relevance of the work.

The committee will select the successful candidate(s) in early December, 2019, and the award(s) will be paid before the end of 2019.
