It is with great sadness the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies shares the news of the recent death of Natalie Pressburger. Natalie has been the Departmental Administrator in our department since 2014. She was also the Graduate Administrator in our department from 2007 until 2014. In 2012 she was the winner of the Betty Weiss Memorial Award. Prior to this she worked in the Psychology department as Assistant Graduate Administrator. In her youth, Natalie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Translation from York University (Glendon Campus).

Those of us who worked with Natalie will remember her great sense of humour, her welcoming nature, and her ability to bring people together. After a courageous fight against cancer Natalie passed away on July 5th, one month shy of her 64th birthday.
