Biography
Educated in Trinity College, Dublin, the University of Victoria and with a Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University, Simon Dalby joined the faculty in 1993. He is author of the Creating The Second Cold War (London, Pinter and New York, Guilford 1990) and Environmental Security (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press 2002) and coeditor of The Geopolitics Reader 2 nd edition, (London and New York: Routledge, 2006). “Simon Dalby’s latest book is Security and Environmental Change, published by Polity Press in Cambridge in 2009 (http://www.polity.co.uk/book.asp?ref=9780745642918). He is also co-editor of the scholarly journal Geopolitics (http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/titles/14650045.asp).
