Zack Martin

PhD Candidate in Human Geography

I am a current PhD student working with Dr. David Hugill. My research interest focuses on the intersection of geography, history, and urban studies. My work will explore the history of place and the impact on the built environment culture, and geographic understanding over time.

Prior to Carleton, I worked as an AICP certified Planner in a diverse range of communities in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, and Texas. I received my Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Kansas, and my BA in Geography from the University of Missouri, where I am from originally.
