This autumn the National Capital Commission (NCC) invites you to join a guided hike in Gatineau Park to explore and enjoy a forest adorned with vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges as you walk along a flat, accessible trail. Learn more about how plants and animals prepare for the cold winter season. Only 25 spots available, First Come First Serve. Registration is now closed. The next event will be on Sept 23rd, 2025. What to Expect:
- A bus will pick you up at a Nicol Building, Bus Stop and return you to the starting point after the activity.
- Free bus transportation is provided by the NCC.
- Guides will welcome you at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre (33 Scott Road, Chelsea, Quebec) for a brief introduction.
- Accompanied by the guides, you will walk the Sugarbush Trail (approximately one hour).
- Before leaving, enjoy a beverage and visit the Visitor Centre’s exhibition
