This autumn the National Capital Commission (NCC) invites you to join a guided hike in Gatineau Park to explore and enjoy a forest adorned with vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges as you walk along a flat, accessible trail. Learn more about how plants and animals prepare for the cold winter season. Only 25 spots available, First Come First Serve.
What to Expect:
- A bus will pick you up at a Nicol Building, Bus Stop and return you to the starting point after the activity.
- Free bus transportation is provided by the NCC.
- Guides will welcome you at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre (33 Scott Road, Chelsea, Quebec) for a brief introduction.
- Accompanied by the guides, you will walk the Sugarbush Trail (approximately one hour).
- Before leaving, enjoy a beverage and visit the Visitor Centre’s exhibition
