Are you arriving in Ottawa after classes begin? Global Opportunities & The International Student Services Office is hosting Late Arrival Orientation Session to help you prepare for your life in Canada.

The session aims at acquainting International Students with the Free Settlement Services and Resources available for them. Settlement and Integration services help newcomers to address their needs and make a successful transition to their new home in Canada. Keep yourself informed and connected as you settle and become independent.

You are invited to attend this important virtual information session that will discuss the following topics:

Understand how to use your University Health Insurance Plan
Receive answers to your questions including immigration queries
Learning about the resources and free services available for you and your dependants
Understanding how to benefit from Free settlement services offered in your community
Obtaining information on various topics of interest such as housing, immigration, employment, income tax, mental health
Exploring and understanding the importance of networking and volunteering

This session complements the asynchronous I-Start Orientation course offered by the GO-ISSO. We highly recommend all international students register for I-Start.
