Every December the city of Ottawa shines as nearly 300,000 lights are put up highlighting various sites and monuments creating the Pathway of lights.
Join us on a peer-led stroll and make new friends as we walk through downtown Ottawa while it dazzles in a display of thousands of lights. You have the opportunity to see some of the city’s iconic structures on the festive lighting route including the Supreme Court of Canada, the Canadian War Museum, and Reconciliation The Peacekeeping Monument ending with the winter lightscapes multimedia show at Parliament Hill. Please dress in warm clothes and consider wearing sturdy boots.
This is a wonderful event to stretch your legs, make friends with other International students, and get familiar with the city.
Participants will meet at the GO-ISSO reception (4th floor MacOdrum Library) at 4:00 p.m. and then travel as a group using OC Transpo to 1 Vimy Place.
