“I required my Dutch residence permit and registration documents to set up my bank account and once that was done, the process was smooth and easy. It only took a visit before walking home with a new account and the card was delivered 3 days later. “Utilize the public transport system in Rotterdam as it is incredibly efficient and cost effective to get around but most importantly, purchase a bike. The purchase of a bike was one of the best investments made as the city is centered around that mode of transportation. Traffic was never experienced and most journeys were cut by 10-15 minutes on bike. As for must see places, I would recommend Witte de withstraat, the Lijnbaan and Beurs as destinations to tick off the bucket list.
