The Department of History is pleased to congratulate Hollis Peirce on winning one of the inaugural Provost Scholar Awards! Hollis is a fourth year student in History, graduating this autumn.
Hollis is one of ten students to receive the award, which is a testament to his research, his community engagement, and the immersive learning opportunities he has both participated in and created for others! Amongst many accomplishments, Hollis has presented his research in digital history at Carleton’s first ‘Big Data Day‘; he helped plan and coordinate an ‘unconference’ on accessibility and the digital humanities, and was the first recipient of the Graham Undergraduate Digital History Research Fellow.
Well done, Hollis!
