Local artist Marc Adornato to talk about last summer’s #MYPROTEST project at the What’s New about New Media symposium April 24th @ 1:15pm.
Come a day earlier and you can hear Carleton’s own Merlyna Lim (Canada Research Chair in Digital Media and Global Network Society) give her keynote entitled “Tweet to the Air, Feet to the Square: The Intertwining of Protest and Technology Across Space and Time.” Her talk begins on April 23, at 4pm.
All talks will take place in River Building 2228.
This symposium is the last in a series of events to come out of Hate 2.0 – a collaborative research project that the Department’s Jennifer Evans has worked on this last little while with Christiane Wilke and Josh Greenberg.
