Announcements
Through Discovering Multicultural Canada, the MHSO is producing an online depository of our vast collection of oral history interviews, historical photographs, ethnic newspapers, and textual records. A major component of this effort is digitizing and producing transcripts for our nearly 6,000 taped interviews. The scope of our collection is broad, and is characterized by a mix of interviews with notable Canadians like J.B. Salsberg and interviews with unknown migrant labourers and family members.
We are in need of volunteers to assist with the transcription and editing of these interviews. This is a virtual position performed remotely, with an expectation of around four to eight hours of work a week.
More details included in the attachment. Questions can be sent to daniel.panneton@mhso.ca
