Jennifer Evans Talks Populism and the Far-Right with Ambassador Matthias Lüttenberg
On July 22, 2025, the 11-year anniversary of the Utoye shooting in Norway, Jennifer Evans had a productive meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Matthias Lüttenberg on the challenge of populism and the far-right in Germany and in Canada and how hate migrates into the mainstream. Together with Jordan Leichnitz of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung DC and her SSHRC supported Populist Publics project consultants Swen Steinberg and David Clement.
