Student Testimonials
- Campus Life
-
“There is a lot to do there, and I believed it’s the perfect combo between the north/centre (Madrid) and the south (Andalucia). Additionally, the university had a lot of international students which is a plus, I got to meet people from all around the world.” – Full Year 2023/2024, Bachelor of International Business
- Academic Environment
-
“As soon as I got the course list, I compared them to the course data at Carleton and registered in the ones I found interesting and seemed to fit. Once I registered (because it is on a first come first serve), I sent those courses to Carleton and was told its equivalent. I found classes much easier than Carleton to be honest, and similar to high school because of the small classes the relationship the professors had with their students.” – Full Year 2023/2024, Bachelor of International Business
- Housing Experience
-
“I lived in a student residence (RESA) and I was very happy with my decision because it was in a great location, close to the university and had a cafeteria which saved me time during the week.” – Full Year 2023/2024, Bachelor of International Business
- Setting Up Phone and Bank Account
-
“For the bank account: I searched the best banks for international students/expats, then looked at the banks available around my place and checked the reviews to see if they are good (I ended up with BBVA). For the cell phone: same thing as above, and I also checked the different offers each had and chose the best option (Orange)” – Full Year 2023/2024, Bachelor of International Business
- Travel Tips
-
“With a student visa you can still move around Europe so take advantage of that! If you plan ahead, you can find great prices, for instance, I found a 5 euro bus ticket once to go from Cordoba to Granada which is amazing! As for the must-see places, each person has their own favorites but personally Andalucia (Cordoba, Granada, Sevilla) was definitely on top of my list.” – Full Year 2023/2024, Bachelor of International Business
