We highly encourage you to register for I-Start International Orientation free online mini-course. It’s specifically designed for new international students at Carleton University.
Through this course, you will learn the information needed to help you transition to student life at Carleton and in Canada. This orientation has been designed to meet the needs of all international students, including undergraduate, graduate, and study abroad students..
Topics include: ISSO services, the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), immigration advising, student life in Canada, navigating Ottawa, and much more!
Key Features of I-Start
- Go at your own pace. Modules you can revisit when you need it.
- Get credit. Students who complete the course will be eligible for credit on their Co-Curricular Record, a system Carleton uses to record involvement.
- Connect with other students through Global Ravens chats throughout the summer.
