Requirements
A minimum level of B1 in French. Should you not have a B1 level of French, ULB recommends you arrive in Brussels at least one month in advance to follow an intensive language training.

- Setting Up Phone and Bank Account

“I used Wise for a bank account and that is what basically everyone I knew in Europe used. It’s a great bank and especially useful for transferring money and you can have multiple currencies at a time. I would recommend setting it up a while in advance because my card took a while to come in the mail. For my cell phone, I just went to any of the provider’s stores and asked for the cheapest and most effective plan, many had student options and 6-month options, where you paid ridiculously cheap and got a lot of data.” – Winter 2024, Bachelor of Arts French
