How is your audience engaging with your video?
Every video in MediaSpace generates Kaltura Analytics, which is a dashboard of data and statistics that allow video creators a means for self-evaluation. In other words, it’s a great way to gather information about video engagement! Video analytics update every 24 hours.
In order to access Kaltura Analytics for any video in your MediaSpace,
- Log in to mediaspace.carleton.ca using your MyCarletonOne credentials.
- Navigate to the video of interest.
- Click on the Actions menu under the video player.
- Click Analytics.
Note: Kaltura’s Analytics Dashboard is not a tool that can be used to monitor graded participation. There are many browsers, computers, and even networks that will block analytics.kaltrua.com from collecting user information. Therefore, it remains possible that students could be watching videos and their information would not be included in the Analytics Dashboard. |
How-To Video
