Description
The “Developing a Coaching Mindset” workshop is designed specifically for Carleton University managers who are committed to enhancing their management and leadership skills and empowering their teams. This workshop aims to help managers:
- Understand the principles and benefits of a coaching mindset
- Learn practical coaching techniques to support and develop team members
- Enhance communication skills to foster a positive and productive work environment
Participants will build trust and rapport with team members to encourage open dialogue and feedback and develop strategies for integrating coaching into everyday management practices.
The workshop will include:
- Interactive activities with real-life scenarios
- Insights into a selection of coaching models
- Opportunities for self-reflection and peer-to-peer learning
- Tools to implement coaching practices effectively
By participating, managers will gain a deeper understanding of how to motivate and inspire their teams, improve their ability to handle challenging conversations and foster a culture of continuous learning.
