In today’s dynamic and complex organizational environment, effective management requires more than just technical skills. As part of Carleton’s Management Development Initiative, the “Developing the Five Managerial Mindsets” workshop is designed to enhance the management skills of Carleton University managers by exploring and integrating the five minds of a manager: reflective, analytic, worldly, collaborative, and action mind-sets. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of these mindsets and learn how to apply them for personal, team, and organizational development. This workshop is based on the article “The Five Minds of a Manager” by Jonathan Gosling and Henry Mintzberg, and intended for Carleton university managers.
