The Office of Quality Initiatives (OQI) and Human Resources (HR) are pleased to co-host a mixture of in-person and virtual Management Morning sessions for managers at Carleton University. The overall aim of this series is to provide space for managers to gather in real-time to learn from one another by sharing insights, promising practices, discussing relevant management topics, and considering ways of overcoming shared challenges.
The May 2025 session will take place on May 28 from 9:00am to 10:30am in Dunton Tower Room 2017.
Description
Join us for an interactive session that will provide practical guidelines on how to effectively respond to conflict in the workplace. This session will cover key steps such as identifying the issue, determining the level of response, and engaging necessary resources. Additionally, it will highlight other related training opportunities available at Carleton, such as Fierce Conversations, for those interested in further professional development in navigating conflict resolution.
The Office of Quality Initiatives has partnered with Devon Reeves (Manager, Workplace & Employee Relations) in Human Resources for this session.
