Microsoft 365 Excel Level 1 (Beginner) Virtual Workshop

Please note this Excel Workshop is suitable for PC (Windows) users. It does not include an Excel for Mac component.
During this one-day virtual workshop, you will gain an understanding of spreadsheet concepts, including the difference between various Excel versions, use quick navigation and selection techniques in workbooks and learn how to create, save, open and close Excel workbooks. You will learn how to organize columns and rows of data, edit cell contents, perform basic calculations, work with relative and absolute cell references in calculations, insert worksheet formulas, using the Insert Function dialog box to insert functions. You will become proficient in formatting worksheets, using view features to review large worksheets. You will also learn how to use Excel views to change worksheet layouts and setup files for printing and preview workbooks.

Registration is available through Carleton Central. Under the Employee Services tab, click on Learning and Professional Development, then select Workshop Registration followed by All Workshops.
