Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 at 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

  • In-person event
  • 506 Tory Building, Carleton University, 1125 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1S 5B6

If a colleague seemed to be experiencing some difficult times, would you know how to support them? Do you know what mental health supports are available for staff and faculty? Would you feel comfortable speaking with a colleague about their well-being while also knowing the boundaries around the support you could offer?

This in-person workshop on Supporting a Colleague provides some tips and resources for how to proceed when you are concerned about a colleague. Using the 4R model, we discuss how to Recognize, Respond, Refer and Reflect when a colleague is struggling.
