Join us for the virtual book launch of Canada in the Global Refugee Regime, exploring Canada’s role in responding to global displacement and advancing collective action for refugee protection. Drawing on policy insight and scholarly analysis, the book highlights the political dimensions of contemporary refugee protection, underscoring the limitations of the existing global refugee regime. The edited collection underscores a critical reality: the global refugee regime cannot succeed without sustained political leadership and coordinated global action.
Gathering prominent voices in the field, the volume explores Canada’s engagement across regional and global contexts and its contributions to international resettlement efforts. Through insights on diplomacy, regional engagement, and refugee resettlement, it showcases how Canada continues to help shape practical, rights-based solutions to one of the world’s most pressing challenges.
