We know you’ve been waiting, now it’s finally here, video from this year’s Linguavision 2026!
Thanks so much to everyone who came out for this year’s event. Such a great audience for such a busy time of year! To all you students cheering your friends on. To all you language instructors, staff, administrators, and members of the university community. And wow, so many parents this year! Thanks so much to all of you for coming. The supportive vibe you bring is so appreciated and a HUGE part of what makes this event such a positive space!
And, of course, thanks a million to the judges and volunteers new and old. Like a well-oiled machine! Linguavision could not happen without you!
And how about those performers?! 20+ singers in 6 different languages…plus all the actors in the ASL story-telling segment. Well done all of you, for stepping out of your comfort zone and onto the stage. And such a diverse group!
And finally, thanks yet again to the School of Linguistics & Language Studies for their continued support of this annual event. Taking risks with language is such a key part of the learning process and stepping out onto the Linguavision stage to sing in a language you’re still in the process of learning is a BIG risk! We really appreciate the opportunity to make it happen year after year!
